REPORT ON JOB FAIR – 3rd July 2025
On 3rd July 2025, Don Bosco Yuva Kendra, Najafgarh, in collaboration with ICYM, successfully organized a Job Fair to provide employment opportunities to aspiring candidates.
The event commenced at 10:00 am with an Inauguration Ceremony. The program began with an Invocation Prayer led by Rev. Fr. John Vinnarasu Parthiben , followed by a Welcome Address by Rev. Fr. Kanyunt Rajesh Xalxo. The Keynote Address on the purpose and significance of the Job Fair was delivered by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj. The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Sandeep Minj (JPN Regional Coordinator, Delhi).
Following the inauguration, the HR delegates from the participating companies addressed the gathering, sharing brief details about their recruitment needs and available job positions.
A total of three companies took part in the Job Fair:
- Barbeque Nation – HR: Mr. Arpit
- Pukhraj Health Care Pvt. Ltd. – HR: Mr. Raj
- Be Secure Group – HR: Ms. Sonia
The response was encouraging, with 73 candidates attending the fair. Out of these, 37 candidates were successfully selected and offered employment. The participating HR representatives expressed their satisfaction with the quality of candidates and appreciated the efforts of the institution in organizing the event.
Student Feedback:
Candidates expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the Job Fair helped them interact directly with recruiters, understand industry expectations, and secure potential employment. Many felt motivated and more confident about their career prospects after the event.
Hospitality:
Lunch was arranged for all participating HR delegates and the institute staff, adding a warm and hospitable touch to the event.
The Job Fair concluded on a positive note, strengthening the institute’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and employment.
